On January 9, 2024, Brad was diagnosed with prostate cancer. We are especially grateful to Dr. Heinle for including a PSA test in his yearly bloodwork even though Brad was not yet 55, which helped catch it early. Brad had surgery on April 18, lasting five and a half hours, followed by a tough setback with lymphatic drainage. He began hormone therapy on July 7, and his PSA remains undetectable. After a scan showed a small spot, Brad completed 37 radiation treatments from October to mid December. We are so thankful for the prayers, support and simple lunch dates that kept us going.
