As a 3 time cancer survivor starting with my first cancer at age 39, I have had many people help me through my recoveries. My family, relatives, church family, work family and many others were there for support. But my rock was my wife, Candy! She was my strength and motivating support person throughout my journey to recovery! There were many factors that helped me get through my treatments—God’s ever present guidance, wonderful doctors and nurses, and my loving wife and children! But, I also had a strong will to live. Chemo takes a toll on you physically and mentally. I realized that if I didn’t stay mentally strong each and every day then cancer won that day and I was not going to let that happen!
