When I found out I had breast cancer in April 2025, I was in shock and devastated. However, my family has a history of breast cancer, so my husband and I had already talked about what we would do if this ever happened. My surgery was in June 2025 and I’m still working on regaining physical strength and mobility. My husband, my family, and friends supported me so well through meals, moral support, and simply spending time with me. I truly felt uplifted and comforted by the generosity that was shown and I look at that as a testament to God’s great provision. Though my mom lost her battle with breast cancer, I often recalled her strength, positivity, and faith through her journey and have lived each day hoping that my story can help others.
