Trees are a very symbolic memorial, as they embody life, strength, growth, and hope. Bags & Blessings has partnered with the Beaver County Commissioners, the Beaver County Department of Public Works, the Beaver County Conservation District, the Beaver County Department of Recreation & Tourism, and Lake Forest Gardens to plant the trees in Brady's Run Park. This program offers a unique way to memorialize or honor someone. An individual tree memorial is a tall tribute to a loved one; as part of a forest, the memorials will serve a purpose much bigger than themselves. They will create healthy ecosystems and a stunning park for all to enjoy and cherish.
There will be a kiosk for Phase 3. Pashek & MTR will create an electronic map for the trees and it will be located on our website. We are also happy to announce that Steckman Memorials will continue to donate an engraved paver for each tree sold!!!
Below is a list of the available tree species. The tree plantings occur twice a year, in the Spring and Fall. The trees start as 10' trees in a burlap ball that are well established to ensure their health and longevity.
