My survivor journey started the day I was diagnosed with stage 4 diffused large B cell lymphoma this also happened to be my 60th birthday in 2015. By the grace of God and good Dr.’s I am here cancer free 10 years later. I knew I had to fight, my wife told the Dr.’s unless he turns terminal all he needs to hear is he is improving because all he wants to do is fight this with a positive attitude.
I was so sick the Dr.’s at West Penn weren’t even sure about Chemotherapy and they said it would either cure me or kill me as my body and organs were shutting down. They gave me 1/2 dose of chemotherapy and everything started to turn around, my blood counts started getting better along with my liver & kidney numbers. I am feeling great and enjoying 10 years of being cancer free and spending time with my loving wife.
