I received a diagnosis of Stage 2 breast cancer in late July 2024, following a routine mammogram. The emotional roller coaster is difficult to articulate, but it encompasses the entire spectrum, including shock, fear, anger, sadness, and more. My husband and family have been my rock-solid support system and I’m grateful for their unwavering love and encouragement.
The day prior to my surgery in September, I shared the news with friends via social media, and their overwhelming love and support has been remarkable. I am forever grateful to my surgeon and oncologists who continue to help me conquer this challenge. 🩷
