Eugene St. Clair (Gene)
Meet Gene St. Clair, better known as Geno or Coach Gene, he has served as a police officer in Monaca Borough for over 28 years. Also, a US Army veteran of 21 years. In his free time, he enjoys coaching the youth of the community in sports such as football, baseball, and, more recently, track and field for Central Valley. His love for family and friends is a cornerstone of his life, and he cherishes every moment spent with his grandchildren: Layla, Harlow, and the newest addition, Hudson.
Facetiming with his two other grandchildren, Aysia and Alaya, has become a daily ritual for him.
In March 2023, Gene was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma of the neck and throat. After undergoing 14 treatments of radiation and chemotherapy, his love for family and friends has been a source of strength, contributing to his remission since February 2024.
