Aliquam bibendum, turpis eu mattis iaculis, ex lorem mollis sem, My journey began December 14, 2023 when I heard the dreaded “word” no one is ever quite prepared to hear. My diagnosis of Triple Negative Breast Cancer rocked my world. My journey was very difficult, including 5 hospital stays in the ICU. The most challenging stay for 11 days as my family and friends gathered, watching and waiting as I was slipping away from multi organ failure. Despite these setbacks the one thing we knew was that God's plan was greater than ours. He alone has seen us through all the peaks, valleys, and plains.
It is by His grace and mercy that I am here today.
This journey has taught me so much, not only about myself but how amazing my family, friends, and complete strangers truly are. While I would have never chosen to become a member of this “club” on my own, I am so grateful to have found my way here and to receive the support of so many with similar stories.
My mantra through it all has been “I CAN DO HARD THINGS!”
